Holidaze at Ten Brooke LeAnne

 On our way to Nashville, we stopped at an ISU Alum's store in Effingham. I instantly fell in love just by looking at the window when I walked up (My favorite time of the year is the holidays). I enjoy the signing of the window in the left photo, I just would have like to see it above the mannequins head because it is somewhat hard to read. Balance is displayed by the two red curtains in the back and having two mannequins, even though one is covered in presents. It evens out the window nicely. My favorite part of this display is the window on the right, with the mannequins outfit! Rhythm is shown with the placement of the "gift boxes" above and around the mannequin, it creates and nice pattern. Overall, RED is the emphasis in both these windows.

FALL for The LIMITED

Every time I venture into a mall, I make priority to stop by The Limited window display. Over the past few months, I have come to love their displays. The color stories portrayed along with the placement of their mannequins, signage, and miscellaneous pieces creates a perfect window! In the top picture the sweaters are displayed just as the blazers were displayed in a previous post. I love this concept. Rhythm is shown by the same color story and the 3-2-3 of the rows.  I am in absolute LUST with this top photo of the window. It makes me want to go in there and buy these items to help prepare me for fall. Rhythm is created nicely with the different heights of each piece involved, the tree, the FALL SALE sign, the three logs displaying merchandise, the Leaf picture behind the FALL sign to the mannequins in front of it. The mannequins are nicely balanced with the four of them. OBVIOUSLY, the emphasis is fall, and it definitely got me to fall. 

Trick-or-Charolette

I cannot deny the fact that Charlotte Rouse is one of my favorite stores, but I can say I am not typically a fan of their window displays. I LOVE THIS WINDOW! The signage, the placement, EVERYTHING! The one thing I would add is another mannequin on the left so there is two higher ones on each side of the shorter mannequin to create better proportion and balance it out little more. The one thing I would change is the dress the mannequin on the left is wearing, it blends with the color the mannequin too much. Nightlife outfits are definitely emphasized!

 The photo on the bottom is disappointing to me because of the large scale of signage and small use of mannequins, YES I would have liked more mannequins. I like to see what my options are for the promotion used to get me into the store. It does have even balance with the two signs used on the outside and the two mannequins on the inside. It also has good proportion with the height of the mannequins and words on the signs.

 Out of all the window's I've seen today, this is by far my favorite. The mannequins with the signage behind it are perfect! Even the placement of the mannequins, two in the middle closer than the two on the outside. Neutral colors YET again are displayed along with sweaters and jackets. The height of the mannequins shows the perfect amount of the model on the signage giving it good proportion. On the other side (the left photo), the blue signage behind the mannequins balances it out, which makes three the perfect amount in this window. 

The Warmth of Francesca's

Now this is what I'm talking about! White house Black Market just needs to add some color behind their mannequins like this first picture on the right. I love the dark colors with the bright sunflower color. It really makes the apparel stand out. As we can see in the previous two posts, NEUTRAL COLORS ARE IN!(With that hue of red too). I love the added leaves to the window as well. I would have changed the heigh of every other mannequin to make it more proportionate. I like that they placed mannequins above the racks in the window. It is a nice way to display what is in the rack. 

 

White Style, Black Fashion

White House Black Market always keeps me intrigued. I have always liked their classy and feminine style. Yet again, the neutral colors are yet again emphasized in each of these mannequins with a touch of pink and maroon. I like the "splash" of red hue and white added to the colors. I would have liked to see some signage added with the mannequins to add some more. I feel as if it is too much mannequin and that is it. I like the window with four mannequins more so than the one with five. I know that the clothes are important, but I would like to see it on a person. Anyone can throw some mannequins in clothes in a window. I WANT MORE!

FALL in Style at CHICO's

 

Yes, I know the quality in these photos is horrible but that's what happens when you take photos in the middle of the day. I need to start by saying I HATE these thick black stripes in the middle of these windows. I would have separated the mannequins so you can see them without any black line down the center. I took two sets of pictures to see the clothes better. I like how each of the four mannequins in the right picture have a different hand poses. It adds variety yet keeps balance with the even number of mannequins. Neutrals are emphasized through both windows with the colors the mannequins are wearing. The window with five mannequins seems a little much to me. I would of have preferred only four with a little separation between. the one mannequin all the way to the right in the left photo looks as if someone checked the size on the merchandise and didn't turn the mannequin back. I like the merchandise chosen.
